Somaliland

Visa on arrival at Hargeisa Egal Airport. Cost: $40 USD. Duration: 30 days (extendable). Most Western nationalities eligible. No prior arrangement required.

Djibouti

e-Visa available online ($30 USD). Also visa on arrival for most nationalities. East African residents can use EAC Tourist Visa.

Ethiopia

e-Visa available online via Ethiopian e-Visa portal. Most nationalities eligible. Cost varies. Processing: 3–5 business days.

Eritrea

Visa required in advance from Eritrean embassy. Visit Horn of Africa assists clients with the application process. Allow 2–4 weeks.

Socotra Island (Yemen)

Yemeni visa required. Access currently via Abu Dhabi or Cairo. Visit Horn of Africa handles all visa and access arrangements for Socotra tours.

Kenya

Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) required. Apply online at etakenya.go.ke. Cost: $30 USD. Multiple entry. Valid 90 days.

Tanzania

e-Visa available online. Cost: $50 USD. Apply at eservices.immigration.go.tz.

Uganda

e-Visa available online. Cost: $50 USD. Apply at visas.immigration.go.ug.

Rwanda

Visa on arrival available for most nationalities (free for many African nations). East Africa Tourist Visa covers Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya ($100 USD).
